Do I need an appointment?
Yes, you are required to book an appointment. Bettina Bridal and Couture is a bridal studio, and our designers, couture and alteration experts are available exclusively by appointment.
When should I schedule my first fitting for my bridal gown alterations?
We recommend brides schedule their first fitting three to four weeks before the wedding, as a minimum. Although you may consider scheduling your first fitting for your gown alterations, two to three months before the wedding.
How long should I expect my dress fitting to last?
From the moment you arrive to our studio and into the dressing room, you can expect to spend from 1 -1 1/2 hours with your Personal Bridal Expert. Any further visits will take up to an hour.
Do you offer exclusive gown designs?
Yes, we do offer exclusive gown designs. We will first consult and help you choose your fabric; we will then provide you the best recommendation of what we believe will be the best bridal gown design according to your wedding event and preference of style. Once you have chosen your design, we will diligently work to bring your gown to life from conceptualization to completion.
Do you offer custom-made veils to match my wedding gown?
Yes, we do! We will consult with you and create the perfect match for your gown, according to your preference, and depending on your hair style, hair piece and style.
Do you make flower girl dresses?
Yes, we also offer exclusive designs on flower girl dresses.
Is your boutique pet friendly?
Even though we love animals, we kindly ask that pets are not brought to appointments.
What are your operating hours?
Monday – Saturday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (Exclusively by appointment)
How long does a bridal gown alteration take?
This mainly depends on the design and the amount of work needed on the gown. On average, gown alterations usually take between three to five weeks. This also depends on the number of fittings the bride may require.
Do you provide “rush” alterations and designs?
Yes, we do offer expediated services. We will evaluate the situation and recommend the way forward to meet your expectations; however, express alterations will incur additional costs.
Do you offer custom-made Bolero Jackets to match my wedding gown?
Yes, we will create the perfect and most unique bolero jacket for you. We also offer this service for gowns for mother of the bride, bridesmaids, etc.
What is a blusher?
A blusher is the piece of veiling that covers the bride’s face when she walks down the aisle. Some brides choose to wear a blusher, others do not. It depends on the bride’s personal style and look she wants on her wedding day.
What is a bustle?
A bustle is an option we can add to your gown which allows a bride to have a detachable train to the back of the dress. This allows the bride to move more freely at the reception once removed.
Can I bring friends and family to the appointment?
Yes, friends and family are welcomed.

What should I bring to my appointment?
We recommend bringing nude underwear/undergarments, as well as shoes to have a better idea of how your dress will fit the day of.
